Diversity and Difference 2009
This document
is an update of the Diversity and Different Experiences report
which was released in October 2008. It has been produced and
updated to give a Northwest view of an Office for National
Statistics (ONS) article entitled ‘Diversity and Different
Experiences in the UK’. Equality is recognised regionally,
nationally and internationally as a key aspect of progress in
society. This document provides an overview of diversity in the
Northwest, in comparison to England, and then examines the
experiences of different groups in relation to overall trends in
economic well-being, health, education and employment.
