This is the third Northwest Stakeholder Event for the Business Support Simplification Programme. The Government's Spring 2008 Announcement will detail the national policy framework for simplified business support and so this event will focus on how this will be implemented in the Region to achieve a simplified business landscape for the Northwest. Mark Gibson, Director General for BERR will be keynote speaker and he will provide an overview of the national policy framework; its development, expectations and vision. Mark Hughes, Executive Director at NWDA and David Higham, Deputy Regional Director at Government Office Northwest will join Mark Gibson in answering your questions as part of a Question Time Panel. The event will be chaired by Steve Bennett, Business Owner, Vice-Chair of the IoD North West, and Chair of the Regional Simplification Steering Board. This is a key event which we urge you to attend.
