SCA Hygiene is the leading supplier of tissue in Europe. They have six sites across the UK, including one in Skelmersdale which employs 126 people in the converting operation. SCA’s product range includes toilet paper, paper and hand kitchen towels, napkins and handkerchiefs. Their products can be found almost everywhere – in most homes, hotels, restaurants and workplaces. Well known brands include:Tork, Tempo and Velvet.

The best practice tour will provide an insight into the continuous improvement philosophy taken on by SCA Hygiene, followed by a MAS workshop which will provide an overview of Lean Sigma, to create improvements in  productivity and performance and includes a team based problem solving challenge.
