Nuclear Supply Chain Opportunities for SME's
Date: Monday, 27 September 2010
Location: Manchester Conference Centre
Time: 09:00 to 17:00
The global revival in nuclear power, and the wider move to a low
carbon economy, provides a major opportunity for manufacturing
companies to get involved in the building and operating of the UK's
new nuclear power stations as well as the nuclear decommissioning
programme.
For this first in a series of nuclear focused events, all the MAS
regions have come together with the key payers in the
nuclear industry to provide manufacturers with an insight into
civil nuclear supply chain and the new business opportunities this
presents. You will hear from the energy supply companies and their
tier one and tier two contractors, all of whom are committed to a
significant element of local sourcing. We will try to de-mystify
the particular characteristics of the market and to give you some
guidance on what you need to do and to become a supplier.
Finally we will explain the range of subsidised support that MAS
can give to ease you on your way.
