NWDA Structure

The Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA) is governed by a private sector-led Board, chaired by Bryan Gray. The Board is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the Agency across all areas of activity. The Board ensures that the Agency has a strong focus on the themes, actions and priorities within the Regional Economic Strategy (RES).

The Agency has a clear operational management structure to ensure the effective delivery of the RES. The Agency itself is divided into directorates and managed by an executive management team, led by Chief Executive Steven Broomhead.

Bernice Law, Chief Operating Officer, is currently on secondment to The Liverpool Culture Company

Details of the directorates within the Agency are outlined in this section, together with a summary of the main responsibilities of each team.
